IRSA Publishing House is pleased to announce that Artibus et Historiae has been accepted for indexing in Web of ScienceSM, the largest and most comprehensive citation index available. The inclusion of Artibus et Historiae in the Arts & Humanities Citation Index® and Current Contents®/Arts & Humanities demonstrates our dedication to providing the most relevant and influential art historical content to our community.
Web of Science is the world’s leading citation index with multidisciplinary content from nearly 12,000 of the top tier international and regional journals worldwide. The editorial staff at Thomson Reuters reviews over 2,500 journal title each year. Of these, only about 10–12% deemed to be the most influential in the fields of science, social sciences, arts, and humanities are selected for inclusion in the Web of Science.
Journals indexed in Web of Science have been evaluated by experienced editorial staff and met Thomson Reuters high standards for selection. Factors considered during the review and selection process include a journal’s publishing standards, the editorial content, citation data from the Web of Science and relevance to the discipline.
Additionally, Artibus et Historiae is indexed in the Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) and Art Index; the content lists and abstracts are included in the H. W. Wilson’s databases: Art Full Text, Art Abstracts and Art Index, in EBSCO’s Art & Architecture and ProQuest’s Arts & Humanities Full Text databases. Back issues may be read online in JSTOR.
