A painter and draughtsman, experienced teacher and stained-glass designer, he actively participated in Cracow\u2019s artistic life, engaging in social activities of the local artist\u2019s union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>This book, compiled under editorship of Dr Krystyna Czerni, is the result of collaboration between several authors: Dr Stefania Krzysztofowicz-Kozakowska has characterised the painter\u2019s artistic development, Dr Krystyna Czerni has rescued from oblivion a very interesting painted wall decoration of the Pasieka (\u2018Apiary\u2019) mead tavern in Cracow, whose iconography was in line with the ideological trends of the 1930s, while Dr J\u00f3zef Szymon Wro\u0144ski has compiled the first complete catalogue of stained-glass windows designed by Erwin Czerwenka.
